Your AI agent now makes the calls

Lead summary

Outbound calling agents are live. Build one in minutes, connect a phone number, and your AI dials new leads the moment they come in — qualifying, following up, and confirming appointments before they ever go cold. Now with native GoHighLevel automation.

What’s new

You can now build a fully voice-driven outbound calling agent right inside Knock Knock. Pick the voice and language. Tell the agent its goal, write the opening script, add the questions to ask, the common objections, and the things it should never say. Connect a phone number, plug in your knowledge base, and wire it straight into GoHighLevel so a brand-new contact triggers a call automatically.

Whenever a lead comes in through your website, a form, or your CRM, the agent identifies it and reaches out on its own. It auto-dials new leads, follows up at the right time, runs outbound campaigns, nurtures leads, confirms appointments, logs every call, and connects everything back to your CRM. One agent, doing the chasing, with the full context of your business already loaded.

Why it matters

Most new leads go cold before anyone calls them back. They fill in a form, sit in a list, and lose interest while your team is busy or off the clock. With an outbound agent that dials the moment a lead lands — qualifies them, follows up on time, and confirms the appointment — every new contact gets a real conversation instead of a slow callback. The same urgency that made your chat agents convert, now reaching out on voice.

How to use it

  1. Open your Knock Knock dashboard and click Settings in the left sidebar
  2. Go to AI Agents, then Agents, and select Create Agent under Outbound Call Agent
  3. Give the agent a name (for example, “Sales Follow-Up Agent”)
  4. Open AI Engine and choose the voice and language the agent will speak
  5. Open Behavior and set the agent’s goal, write the opening script — the first thing it says when a lead picks up — then add the questions to ask, common objections and how to handle them, and anything the agent should never say
  6. Go to Phone Numbers, click Import, and connect your Twilio number — paste in the number, your Account SID, and your Auth Token
  7. Connect your Knowledge Base so the agent knows your company, services, and offers (leave the Webhook section for now — you’ll come back to it)
  8. Go to Settings → Integrations, find GoHighLevel, and click Map Go High Level
  9. Click Install, log into your CRM, and select the sub-account to connect — you’ll land straight back in Knock Knock
  10. In GoHighLevel, go to Automation, click Create Workflow, and start from scratch
  11. Pick your trigger — Contact Created works well (you can also use Appointment Booked, New Opportunity, Tag Added, or a custom field)
  12. Click the + and add a Custom Webhook action, then set the method to POST
  13. In Knock Knock, copy the endpoint URL for your outbound agent and paste it into the webhook URL field; set the content type to application/json
  14. Back in Knock Knock, copy the full GHL payload block and paste it into the webhook’s raw body — leave the {{contact.*}} merge tags exactly as they are (name, email, and phone pull in automatically; the keys are pre-filled for you)
  15. Hit Save Action, then test the agent before launching

May 8, 2026 New feature v 2.5

Your AI agent now answers the phone

Lead summary

Inbound calling agents are live. Set one up in under five minutes, plug in a phone number, and your AI picks up, listens, and helps move the lead forward. With your knowledge base behind it.

What’s new

You can now build a fully voice driven inbound calling agent right inside Knock Knock. Pick the voice and language. Write the greeting and the instructions that act as the brain. Connect a phone number. Plug in your knowledge base. That is the whole setup. No third party stack. No five different tools glued together. One agent, answering calls, with the context of your business already loaded.

Why it matters

Most inbound callers never reach a human in time. They hit voicemail. They wait on hold. They leave. With an AI agent that picks up instantly, understands what the caller is asking, and pulls from your knowledge base in real time, every inbound call becomes a real conversation instead of a missed lead. Same urgency that made your chat agents convert, now on voice.

How to use it

  1. Open your Knock Knock dashboard and click Settings in the left sidebar
  2. Go to AI Agents, then Agents, and select Create Inbound Calling Agent
  3. Set your AI Engine: pick the voice and the language the agent will speak
  4. Open Behavior Settings: name the agent, write the greeting, and add the main instructions (the brain)
  5. Go to Phone Numbers and connect the number the agent will answer on
  6. Connect your Knowledge Base so the agent answers with full context
  7. Save and start taking calls
