Similar services. A very different price.

Some agencies charge $1,000 per client, every month, on recurring retainers. Others sell similar services for far less and start every month close to zero.
After working with and speaking to a lot of US agencies, we kept seeing the same patterns in the ones at the higher end.
Illustrative example: 100 clients at $1,000 a month is $100,000 a month in recurring revenue. That’s revenue, not profit, and real numbers depend on delivery costs and client mix.
Many of the agencies we speak to resell AI chatbots and CRM setups. The $1,000 agencies often sell services that look a lot like everyone else’s. In our experience, the biggest difference is how they package them.
Same jam, different shelf
A jar of jam in the supermarket costs $3.69. The one beside it costs $6.99. Shoppers compare them and grab the cheaper one.
In the gift shop down the road, six tiny jars in a beautiful box sell for $36.
Less jam. Around ten times the price. And nobody stands there comparing.

Same fruit. Same sugar. The jam didn’t change. The shelf did. Nobody buys the gift box as groceries. They buy it as a present.
Most agencies are stuck in the supermarket aisle
Websites, ads, CRM setups, chatbots. Good, useful services. But put them on a proposal and a prospect can compare them with every other agency in minutes. So the conversation turns to price, and price is a race nobody wins.
Same software, a different shelf
Take GoHighLevel. On its own, the Starter plan lists at $97 a month. That’s a software licence, and anyone can price check it.
Now add the Knock Knock app on top. Bundle it with the services you already deliver, put your brand on it, and give it one name and one price. It stops being a licence and becomes a product.

Our partner agency WebTech does exactly this. It gives the platform to its clients at no charge, bundles its own services around it, and charges $2,000+ a month per client.
Recurring offers like this are worth building. Focus Digital’s 2026 churn report found clients of retainer-based agencies stayed an average of 56 months, compared with 24 months for project-based agencies.
Keep your stack. Add the layer.
You don’t need new jam. If you already set up these platforms for clients, the move is the same. The bigger the platform, the bigger the box:
- GoHighLevel (from $97 a month) + Knock Knock app = a $1,000 a month offer
- HubSpot (Marketing Hub Pro from $800 a month) + Knock Knock app = a $2,500 a month offer
- Jobber (Core from $49 a month) + Knock Knock app = a $1,000 a month offer
- Your other tool + Knock Knock app = your offer, at your price

Why the Knock Knock app makes the box worth opening
Most AI tools do one job. The Knock Knock app is an AI sales layer, powered by its NOX engine, that brings your client’s website, inbound calls, outbound calls, SMS and WhatsApp together in one shared memory.
So a lead who chatted on the website on Monday can be picked up on WhatsApp on Thursday, with the conversation’s context carried across where the data allows. Each lead moves from cold to booked, and your client can watch it happen.

That’s what makes the offer feel premium. Your client isn’t buying a chatbot. They’re buying a sales layer that works across their channels, under your brand. And visibility matters: one agency-focused article argues that clients tend to leave when results become invisible.
The jam was never the problem
Your services are good. Your shelf is wrong.
The agencies charging $1,000 a month didn’t find better jam. They built a better box.
You already have the jam. Let’s build your box.
